Lisa Capannari, Whole Home
Lisa has enjoyed a 35-year career as a physical therapist assistant working primarily in geriatrics. She has a good understanding of the mobility needs and challenges of the aging population. Safe access for all is a subject of deep interest to her given her experience in the medical field. On a personal note, she incorporates this mindset of accessibility into daily life, as her husband has been wheelchair confined for 41 years. Additionally, Lisa has been affiliated with The Think First Trauma Prevention program through TriHealth since 1990; providing education to thousands of young people in the community about the dangers of reckless behavior, in light of brain and spinal cord injury prevention. Presently, Lisa is the Education and Outreach Coordinator for Whole Home Modifications. She facilitates three evidence-based prevention workshops and collaborates with health care professionals and realtors to be a resource in the community for barrier free living options.
